The LEGO® City Drive-Through Car Wash (60497) turns a familiar stop for drivers into a 583-piece working play scene. Children aged 6 and up can build the wash itself and two cars, then run each vehicle through a complete cleaning routine.
From spinning brushes to the vacuum bay
Drive the black-and-yellow muscle car or red convertible into the wash, release the water-effect pellets and slide the rail to rotate the cleaning brushes. Afterward, pull into the vacuum station for the final part of the job. The car-wash mechanism is the centre of this set, rather than simply being decorative scenery.
Customers, an attendant and a sponge mascot
Four minifigures include two drivers, a car-wash attendant and a costumed sponge mascot. A bucket, sponge and suitcase provide props for scenes around the wash. If you want road vehicles with a fixed location for everyday stories, compare more options in our LEGO® City sets or discover the broader LEGO® sets range.
