The LEGO® Technic Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car (42236) is built around an unusual idea for a vehicle set: the appearance can be changed after construction. Its 973 pieces include alternative bodywork elements, so the Mustang can take on different looks without becoming a different car.
Two bodywork styles and eight swappable details
The supplied panels allow a cleaner painted appearance, a graffiti-inspired look or a combination of the two. Eight interchangeable areas include the hood, front splitter, doors, roof panels and spoilers, giving the model a genuine custom-garage element.
Steering and an eight-cylinder engine
The top-mounted steering gear operates the wheels, while an eight-cylinder piston engine adds mechanical interest. The standard configuration measures approximately 27 cm long.
