The LEGO® Technic NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket (42221) is a 632-piece model developed in collaboration with NASA and ESA. This educational space-building set for ages 9 and over demonstrates the separation sequence of a multistage launch vehicle.
Hand-cranked rocket stage separation
Turning the hand crank activates a sequence that separates the solid rocket boosters, followed by the core stage and upper-stage components. The model includes the Orion spacecraft, engine module and launch abort system, giving the construction a clear engineering focus.
Space display with astronaut nanofigures
Four astronaut nanofigures, blue flame elements and an information panel complete the display. The rocket stands approximately 70 cm tall in its launch configuration, making the set particularly relevant to builders interested in launch systems, space exploration and moving LEGO Technic mechanisms.
