LEGO® Marvel Mech Battle: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock (76338) contains 315 pieces for ages 6 and up. It constructs two articulated mech suits with opening cockpits rather than relying on a single large figure and a separate opponent minifigure.

Two pilotable mechs with distinct attachments

The Iron Spider-style suit features two button-operated stud shooters, while Doc Ock's machine has four moving tentacles. Both mechs have jointed limbs and a cockpit that holds a minifigure. Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider and Doc Ock are the three included characters. Two web ropes can attach to the figures or machines, and Ghost-Spider's slings attach to the Doc Ock mech's torso.

Because both vehicles are built in one box, the set gives a more balanced two-sided scene than a small single-mech kit such as Miles Morales Mech (76337). Its key decision point is whether the builder would rather assemble two smaller articulated bodies than one central figure. See our LEGO® Marvel sets.
