Collection: Skeletons
Skeleton Minifigures
LEGO® has produced a variety of skeleton-themed minifigures and sets throughout the years. These skeleton minifigures have been featured in various LEGO® themes, such as Castle, Ninjago, Pirates, and the Monster Fighters series. The skeleton minifigures typically have a distinct design, featuring a white or gray skeletal body with unique, movable limbs that resemble bones. There are also Minecraft-themed skeleton minifigures are often accompanied by related accessories, such as bows for ranged attacks, just as they have in the game.
First appearance: The first LEGO® skeleton minifigure was introduced in 1995 as part of the Castle theme in set 6036 Skeleton Surprise.
Some of the skeleton LEGO® minifigures have special features, such as glow-in-the-dark bones, specialized headgear, or accessories that fit the theme in which they are included. These minifigures are often used to create spooky or eerie scenes in LEGO® builds or to populate themed sets that involve graveyards, haunted houses, or other supernatural scenarios.
Dinosaur Skeletons
LEGO® has also produced sets featuring dinosaur skeletons, allowing fans to explore the world of paleontology and create their own prehistoric displays. These sets typically include detailed, brick-built dinosaur skeletons that accurately represent various species of dinosaurs, such as the Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Pteranodon.
Some of these dinosaur skeleton sets are part of the LEGO® Ideas theme, where fan-submitted designs are turned into official LEGO® sets. An example of this is the LEGO® Ideas 21320 Dinosaur Fossils set, which includes brick-built skeletons of a T. rex, Triceratops, and Pteranodon, along with a paleontologist minifigure and display stands for each model.
Dinosaur skeletons can also be found in other LEGO® themes, such as the Jurassic World series, which features a combination of brick-built skeletons and fossil-themed elements in some of the sets.
