LEGO® inverted slope bricks feature an angled underside that helps builders shape lower surfaces, recessed sections and structural transitions. These specialised slope pieces are useful for vehicle undercarriages, spacecraft hulls, overhanging architecture and other models that require angled geometry beneath the main structure.

Building with LEGO® Inverted Slopes

LEGO® inverted slope bricks are often used alongside standard LEGO® slope bricks. While standard slopes shape the outside of a model, inverted slopes help create matching angles underneath overhangs, vehicles and architectural details.

  • Vehicle undersides: Shape chassis sections, lower body panels and tapered fronts.
  • Spacecraft hulls: Form angled lower surfaces and transitions beneath wings or fuselages.
  • Architectural details: Create overhangs, supports, projecting walls and recessed sections.
  • Terrain and structures: Add angled undersides to cliffs, bridges and elevated builds.

Inverted Slopes and Standard Slope Bricks

Inverted slopes shape the lower side of a model, while LEGO® slope bricks provide straight angled surfaces across the top. Builders often use both families together to produce balanced profiles and tapered structures. Smaller details can be added with the LEGO® Cheese Slope 1 x 1, while the LEGO® Slope 33° 3 x 2 provides a broader standard slope with a shallower angle.
