Choose-a-Brick Creator Guidelines

Thank you for partnering with Choose-a-Brick. We want creators to have the freedom to promote our store naturally while keeping recommendations clear, accurate, and respectful of our customers and the LEGO® brand.

Creator Guidelines

  • Be genuine. Recommend Choose-a-Brick only where it naturally fits your content and audience.
  • Clearly disclose affiliate relationships. If you may earn commission from a recommendation, link, or discount code, make the commercial relationship clear in accordance with the advertising rules that apply to you and the platform you are using.
  • Respect LEGO® intellectual property and trademarks. Do not imply that you, your content, or Choose-a-Brick are sponsored, authorised, endorsed, or operated by the LEGO Group.
  • Do not use the LEGO logo as promotional branding. Avoid using LEGO-owned logos, artwork, catalogue images, or other protected materials in ways that could suggest an official LEGO partnership or endorsement. Where possible, use your own original photos and videos.
  • Use the Choose-a-Brick name accurately. Do not create social accounts, websites, advertisements, or other materials that could reasonably be mistaken for official Choose-a-Brick channels.
  • Do not make misleading claims. Only make statements about products, prices, availability, shipping, delivery, discounts, authenticity, or promotions that are accurate and current.
  • Do not alter or invent promotions. Only advertise discount codes, offers, and commission-related benefits that have been provided or approved by Choose-a-Brick.
  • Do not spam. Affiliate links and discount codes should be shared naturally. Do not post unsolicited promotional comments, repetitive messages, or misleading links on unrelated accounts, communities, or websites.
  • No paid advertising without permission. Do not run paid search, social media advertising, or other paid campaigns using the Choose-a-Brick name, trademarks, affiliate links, or discount codes unless you have received prior written approval from us.
  • Protect customer trust. Do not impersonate customers, create fake reviews, make false testimonials, or engage in any activity intended to manipulate referrals or commissions.
  • Commissions must come from genuine referrals. Self-referrals, fraudulent orders, artificial transactions, or other attempts to generate commission without a genuine referred customer may result in commission being cancelled and the partnership being ended.
  • Follow platform and Shopify Collabs rules. Creators must also comply with the applicable rules of Shopify Collabs and the social platforms or websites used to promote Choose-a-Brick.
  • Use your own content. Creators should use their own original photos, videos, and graphics when promoting Choose-a-Brick. Images, graphics, logos, or other materials from the Choose-a-Brick website may not be copied, downloaded, edited, or reused unless we have given specific written permission.

    • Partnership Changes

    Choose-a-Brick may update commission rates, discount offers, qualifying products, program conditions, or creator participation for future referrals. Any valid commission already earned before a change remains subject to the applicable Shopify Collabs payment and refund rules.

    We may pause or end a creator partnership where these guidelines are not followed, where promotional activity could harm customers or our brand, or where the partnership is no longer commercially suitable.
