Who is The child, Grogu, also known a Baby Yoda?
Grogu is a character who first appeared in the Mandalorian TV-series on Disney+.
He is from the same species as Yaddle and Yoda, and also force-sensitive. Din Djarin meets Baby Yoda on one of his missions as a Bounty Hunter. He is supposed to retrieve The Child and bring him to Moff Gideon. He decides not to do that and is charged by the leader of his sect, a Mandalorian called the Armorer, to bring the Child to his own people. Din Djarin decides to find Jedi and bring Baby Yoda to them. He finds Ahsoka Tano, but she refuses to train Baby Yoda. From Ahsoka The Mandalorian learns that the child's name is Grogu. She points the way to find other Jedi. Grogu ends up with Luke Skywalker for a while but eventually decides not to become a Jedi and return to the Mandalorian.
